Class Guidelines

Classes

Elementary
Basic steps and formations. At least 6 months dancing experience.

Intermediate
Dancers should be thoroughly conversant with allemande, poussette, set and turn corners, reels, double triangles, rights and lefts, and other common formations.

Social
For dancers with some dancing experience, who do not wish to concentrate on technique, but enjoy interesting dancing.

Advanced Technique
Dancers will have attained a high standard of performance in all steps and formations and should expect to work on all aspects of technique and the lesser known formations to achieve a very high standard.
This is a physically demanding class and therefore participants should have a good level of fitness.

Advanced – Low Impact
This class is for dancers with knowledge and experience to a very advanced level, but who do not desire sustained high level activity.
